Costco Wholesale Corporation filed a federal lawsuit against the United States in an effort to block enforcement of President Trump's tariffs and recover duties it says were unlawfully collected. In its filing with the U.S. Court of International Trade, Costco argues that Trump exceeded his executive authority under the International Emergency Economic Powers Act when imposing broad tariffs on imports from China, Mexico, Canada, and many other countries.
