Former Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau's new sweetheart Katy Perry has lashed out after the Trump administration used her song "Firework" for a military TikTok. Perry made the comments despite selling the rights to her music catalog for $225 million. The White House had posted a video of a number of explosions taking place in Iran, saying in the caption, "Iran has been warned," but with the music of "Firework" playing in the background. Perry wrote on X in response, "I am deeply appalled and angry to see 'Firework' used on the @WhiteHouse TikTok account as a backing track for video footage of military strikes.”
