A radio station in the UK announced the death of King Charles III after a staff member played pre-recorded audio files “out of curiosity”. Radio Caroline has been found in breach of broadcasting rules after the recordings were played during the Barry Marsh Show in May, prompting listeners to believe the King had died. One of the recordings declared: “We have suspended our normal programmes until further notice as a mark of respect following the passing of His Majesty King Charles III.”
