An illegal alien from Mexico who led a drug trafficking organization that supplied cocaine and fentanyl to dealers operating around Seattle homeless encampments has been sentenced to eight years in federal prison. Daniel Ibarra Loera, 32, of Kent, Washington, was identified as a leader of the trafficking operation during a federal wiretap investigation conducted in 2024 and 2025, according to the US Attorney's Office for the Western District of Washington.
